Specialty & Epoxy Coatings in Charlotte
Where ordinary paint isn't the right answer.
Some surfaces need a coating rather than a paint. Garage and workshop floors take abrasion, hot tyres and dropped tools; commercial substrates need something that cleans down and keeps doing it. Epoxy and urethane systems are built for that, and they live or die on preparation.
Concrete has to be profiled and genuinely dry before an epoxy will bond, which is the step most failed garage floors skipped. On the building envelope, elastomeric coatings do a related job — see exterior painting for where that fits.

Specialty & epoxy coatings questions
How long before I can park on a new epoxy garage floor?
Foot traffic is usually 24 hours; vehicles need longer, typically several days depending on the system and the temperature. The estimate gives you the exact window.
Why do epoxy floors peel?
Nearly always moisture or inadequate profiling. If the slab wasn't tested and mechanically prepared, the coating never bonded properly in the first place.
Do you do commercial as well as residential?
Yes. Shops, garages and light commercial spaces are a regular part of the coatings work.
