House painting in Charlotte, NC
Historic plaster, deep trim detail and mature street canopy — the in-town work this company was built on.

What the work looks like here.
Charlotte's oldest money sits in a fairly small geography, and the housing stock in it behaves nothing like the metro average. Eastover was laid out in 1927 on an Olmsted-influenced street plan about two miles southeast of Uptown, and Myers Park runs the same era along Queens Road and Cherokee Road under a canopy of mature oaks.
That means plaster, not drywall. It means wood windows, deep original trim profiles, and eighty years of accumulated coatings that have to be dealt with rather than covered. It also means pre-1978 lead-era paint is a live consideration on a great many of these houses, and we'll raise that with you before anything gets sanded rather than after.
Foxcroft and Quail Hollow skew later — largely mid-century on half-acre-plus lots, so more ranch and split-level stock with original wood siding and long low trim runs. Different job, different prep, same principle: whatever is under the finish gets sorted first.
Because the same square mile also holds recent teardown-rebuilds, we run historic-substrate work and new-construction finish work side by side here. Having drywall, plaster and paint under one name is what makes that practical.
Neighborhoods we work in: Eastover, Myers Park, Foxcroft, Quail Hollow, SouthPark, Seven Eagles.
Do you work on historic homes in Myers Park and Eastover?
Regularly — it is a good share of the work. Original plaster gets repaired to match rather than boarded over, and we plan around the fact that these houses predate modern substrates.
What about historic district rules on exterior colour?
Parts of Myers Park sit under historic district review, and requirements differ street to street. We'll tell you what we know and point you at the right body, but the approval itself is between you and the city — we won't claim to speed that up.
How far into Charlotte do you work?
We keep the radius deliberately tight so the owner can get to your job the same day a decision is needed. Call and ask about your street — the answer is usually yes.
We work in Marvin and Weddington too.
