Accessibility
This site is built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. If any part of it doesn't work for you, tell us and we will fix it.
What that means here
- Every page works from the keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- A skip link jumps straight to the main content.
- One
h1per page, with headings in a logical order. - Text contrast meets or exceeds 4.5:1 throughout.
- Every form field has a label attached to it.
- Meaningful images carry alt text; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Animation is disabled entirely for anyone whose system asks for reduced motion.
- The layout works down to a 320px viewport and reflows without horizontal scrolling.
What we have deliberately not done
We have not installed an accessibility overlay widget. Overlays sit on top of an inaccessible page and frequently interfere with the assistive technology people already use. The accessibility is built into the page instead.
Known limitations
Photography on this site is added as jobs are completed. Where a frame is still reserved, it is announced as a pending photograph rather than being hidden — so screen reader users know something is coming rather than encountering an unexplained gap.
Tell us about a problem
Call (704) 280-4264 or email info@thepainterscharlotte.com. Describe the page and what went wrong, and we will get back to you. If you would rather just talk to someone about a paint job, the phone number is answered during business hours and always will be.
