Interior Painting in Charlotte
Prep is most of the job. The finish is just what you see.

Most of an interior repaint happens before any colour goes on the wall. We sand, fill and caulk, spot-prime the repairs, and mask what needs protecting. When the walls in a 1920s house move under a straightedge, that gets sorted first — often with drywall & plaster — because paint doesn't hide a bad surface, it advertises it.
If the room has wallpaper, we take it off and skim the walls smooth rather than painting over it — see wallpaper removal. If the ceiling still has popcorn texture, that comes down first under texture & popcorn removal. One crew, one schedule, one person answerable for the result.

Interior painting questions
How many coats do you put on?
Two finish coats as standard, over primer where the surface needs it. Colour changes and repaired areas often need more, and the estimate says exactly what we've allowed for.
Do you paint kitchen cabinets?
Yes. Doors come off, hardware comes off, everything is degreased, sanded and sprayed or brushed depending on the finish you want. It is a slower job than walls and priced separately.
Can you match an existing colour?
Usually. Bring us a chip off a closet door or the old can and we'll get it matched at the supplier before we start.
How long does a typical interior repaint take?
A few rooms is usually two to four days. A whole-house interior in a larger home runs one to three weeks depending on trim detail and how much repair the walls need. Your estimate gives you a schedule, not a guess.
